I started going to the Gill Clinic around 10 years ago and even though I moved away from London (to the USA, then Italy and now Slovenia), I still return to Richmond for any major dentistry because Hap and his team are just that good. I was an extremely nervous patient and had a real fear of dentists for many years but Hap worked with me to overcome that and make sure I was getting proper care for my teeth. As a TV broadcaster, this is really important but it has also made my life better outside of work.

I was introduced to Dr Gill by my fiancé who has used him for several years. After being told by another dentist in Sheen that I would need 4 fillings (the first consultation returning to the UK from abroad and requesting a routine check up), I became sceptical and sought a second opinion with Dr Gill. His manner was friendly, professional and sincere. He confirmed to me that only one filling was really necessary and there was no other evidence in any of my other teeth of problems. Recently moving to the Area I decided to give the Gill Clinic a go, having read some of the previous reviews. Happy to write that these guys are brilliant at their care and service they provide. The Gill Clinic has a scenic riverside location. The reception stall will arrange parking outside the premises if you need it. The whole place is very welcoming. The work Dr Gill carries out is excellent and his clinic has the loveliest (both in their attitude and their appearance) dental nurses I have ever been fortunate enough to be looked after by.

My husband and I continue to visit Dr Hap Gill despite relocating to India 20 months ago. His finest moment was remote advice to help me care for a broken tooth until I could return to the UK for him to fix it, dental care above and beyond using a very sketchy photo from my phone! We wouldn't trust anyone else with our teeth, every trip to the UK coupled with a visit to the dentist!

Dr Gill is probably one of the best dentists we have ever seen. He is professional but friendly and puts you at ease straight away which is saying a lot from someone who is very nervous about seeing a dentist! Very detailed consultation with Dr Hap Gill who clearly puts your health needs first. Thorough and very professional. Hap also has great technology in his surgery which for me meant he could see more of the actual issues than a dentist who hadn't invested. Who loves going to the dentist? Not many! Well, I do now that Hap is my dentist. I discovered the Smile Studio 3 years ago when I needed my crown on my front tooth replaced. Hap was fantastic. Hap successfully managed the whole process from end to end including arranging for the bone graft using a specialised surgeon. Hap was excellent from the very first meeting to the final check-up. The information provided at the beginning to explain the process was invaluable in both letting me know the steps and what I had to do as part of the process. Hap was always very clear on how long each step would take and what would happen at every stage. The process took a long time, due to the work involved and Hap was always available to both check and give reassurance that everything was going to plan. I was also always impressed by the quality of the dental/medical equipment used throughout the procedure and how comfortable Hap was using it. Hap’s team worked closely with him and it always felt any visit was well managed and professional. My implant now just feels ‘part of me’ and the time taken was certainly very worthwhile.
