Colourful, classy Indian cooking - Good Food Guide

This is a relaxed, hip enterprise with attractive staff, a backlit bar and tables inlaid with sari fabric; background beats and purple lighting lend a chilled nightclub vibeā€¦.everything we sampled spoke of a dab hand in the kitchen. Time Out

What Locals Say

  • "real Indian food"
"Awful Food, Awaful music...The moment u enter and see the decor, you know you are in an 'English Curry House' a la Chicken Tikka! I could not even distinguished between chicken and lamb dishes. If you want real Indian food, try Southall or Tooting."

  • "high quality"
We have been regular customers since Tangawizi opened and its menu is consistantly high quality and different from your average Indian. Always a warm welcome. Cant recommend it too highly.

  • "Friendly and efficient service"
Not cheap but for my money is the best Indian food Iʼve eaten. We had delicious lamb, chicken and vegetable dishes that were fresh and tasty - certainly not swimming in grease like many curries! Puddings were heavenly, particularly the ʼcarrot fudgeʼ, which was heaven on a plate. Friendly and efficient service - a definate for a special meal.
